If I wann try to Playback on my Yamaha RX-V677 AVR it says "need premium" on the device display. Any other Connect device (Fire TV, Tablet, Windows) works well. I have allready Powerd off/on, disconnected and reconnected all my my devices via online account settings - without success.
I have Family Premium, using the "host" account.
Does anybody have a workaround?
Thank you! 🙂

I also just had the same problem for my Yamaha R-N500, it kept saying 'Need Premium' which I already have an active subscription for.
I ran the firmware update from 1.13 to 1.17 by holding down the Return button while switching the unit on. Then using the select dial to select Update-Internet, then press the Display button. The update ran for a few minutes, restarted and it worked again.
I just wish it displayed 'Update Firmware' instead of 'Need Premium' which is a bit confusing.
Thank You! Thank you! Tried everything on the spotify side...the you tube video to "reboot" the receiver worked...i have messing with this thing for 2 days...finally!!!
