How does this multigazillion dollar company not allow you to update your subscription right from the app lol it's insane

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Unfortunately, due to Apple restrictions, you can’t subscribe to Premium through the app for iPhone and iPad. For some background on that, check out timetoplayfair.com/facts.

Instead, you can go to www.spotify.com/premium to pick your plan and upgrade to Premium. 🙂
