Cancelling SparkNZ so can move to Family Subscription

Hi there. I've recently joined Spark NZ and I clicked the link to have them pay for my Premium Spotify subscription, without realising that my Family subscription wasn't covered by this and therefore no longer works.  Hence my husband and son no longer have Spotify.  I'd like to go back to having the Family subscription under my name and cancelling the Premium subscription through Spark, but I've phoned Spark and they can't help - told me I had to contact Spotify.  Any advice???  Thanks

Hi @Razza33 and welcome to the Community! 🙂

Sorry to hear you are having this issue. I am not familiar with the Spark offer, but as far as I know, the Family plan is only offered through Spotify directly.

If Spark is unable to assist, it may be because the billing is set up with Spotify still. When you log into your account does your plan allow you to cancel it? 
If so, I would cancel, wait to revert to free and try to resubscribe with Family again (may take up to 24 hours). You would then be able to reinvite your dropped family members. There's a full support page for Family located here as well that can help walk you through if you run into snags. Hopefully not though ... 🙂
