Cannot redeem Google home mini, say offer is not there anymore

My Question or Issue

 I did not get any link for a Google home mini after I signed up for the Family plan. When I am going to this link (https://www.spotify.com/us/googlehome/redeem/), it says Thank you so much for your interest.

I chatted with the help desk and they told me they were out of the Google Home Mini's so no one signing up now will get one.  She said the promotion began in November and I should have signed up earlier.  Since I just got the email with the promotion 3 days ago I am not terribly happy about it.  I love Spotify and wil save some money on the family plan, but feel it was someone fraudulent to continue promoting with the GHM when they aren't going to honor it.

I feel duped. They should atleast honor what they have advertised and they mentioned the offer is till December 31st, 2018. This sounds like a scam. I feel so duped.

This same thing happened to me. I signed up on the 14th. The live chat keep telling me it ended at noon on the 14th. I told her I signed up at 6 a.m...... she didn’t answer me.
