Change Payment Method is not Recognized by Spotify

I have a Family Premium Plan.  Last month, I changed the credit card to be used for my monthly subscription payment. Today, my July payment was still charged to my old credit card even though my new card is saved in payment method.  I spent over 30 frustrating minutes chatting with Support.  I deleted then re-added my credit card various times, in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.  I was told the change was not being reflected on Spotify's end.  We tried again using Private/Incognito logins.  Still, no success.  I was then told the best thing for me to do was cancel my account and then resubscribe, then reinvite all my family members again.  I'm an IT professional and this advice was just ridiculous and the most inconvenient workaround or solution.  The worst part of this is along with changing Spotify payment method, I had also changed my Netflix, Disney, TIDAL, and other subscriptions. Spotify is the only troublesome one here.  For all the whining that Spotify does against Apple not allowing them to handle their own payments on iPhone, you'd think that this would be important for them to fix.  This is laughably ridiculous.  Thanks for letting me rant.
