Account was for the Netherlands, but now trying to update for Switzerland based. 

 

My Question or Issue

So i've relocated from Netherlands to Switzerland recently.

 

Firstly It does not update my country in my edit profile section to Switzerland. No idea why but i cant seem to change it any way possible.

 

Then I got an email today to update payment to match where I am streaming the music from, so I try to enter my new Swiss bank account number, which then first tells me to choose of course Switzerland for this bank account number location, which does seem to accept, BUT then it changes my plan to personal as the only option to choose from with this payment update. 

 

So It does not let me choose/keep the DUO subscription. When i do try to choose DUO as the option, i get the error 'Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this subscription. Here are other ways to get Spotify Premium.' which is surely stupid, since i already have Spotify Premium Duo. 

 

So I'm stuck, cannot update personal address at all, then also cannot update payment or address without it demoting my subscription to 'Individual' and not possible to keep DUO?!

 

Help!

Thanks for reaching out.

 

The country setting for an account with a Premium subscription can only be updated by changing the payment method to one from the new country.

 

In cases like yours, I recommend canceling the current subscription, waiting until both accounts revert to free, and then subscribing to Premium Duo again with the new payment method. The person joining your plan will also need to update their country setting before they can successfully join.
