Confused about the subscription

Okay, so I recently got the 3-Month premium. (I'm only going to do it for three months.)

Why can't I turn off the auto-renewal? It says I have to cancel the subscription, but I don't want too. I honestly, just want to turn off the auto-renewal, and I can't find any answers for this. I need help.

(I use iOS.)

Welcome to the community!

While it's not possible to turn off automatic renewal, you can just cancel your subscription, and your account will not revert to the Free ad-based service until your three months of Premium time runs out.

By the end of the three months (or before that), if you decide you wish to continue your Spotify Premium subscription, you can always re-subscribe.
