Death in family

Death in family

Hello. My 2 nieces lost both their parents very tragically. They were on a family plan with their mom. They are now living with us and i want to add them to my family plan. They cannot “switch” accounts because they were on their father’s account  and then switched to their mom’s in February. when they tried to join my account, it said they can’t join more than one account every 12 months. How can I get them into my family plan and allow them

to keep all their playlists?  Their lives have become quite complicated so I’d like this to be as easy as possible. Thank you!

Hey there, @Alizdas,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

You can ask them to reach out to Support to see if there's anything that can be done. Generally, however, you can only switch Family/Duo plans once every 12 months.

Hope this helps!

Hey there! I'm really sorry to hear such stories. Regarding the family plan, it can be a bit tricky when there are account switches involved. If someone in your family faces the same situation, here are some tips. One option you can explore is reaching out to the customer support of the platform or service to explain the situation and see if they can make an exception or provide any solutions.
