Finished with Student Plan, what's next?

My Question or Issue

Hi, I no longer qualify for the Spotify student plan. I've considered consolidating with my wife with a Spotify Family Plan. Although, at $14.99 is it all or none with 6 accounts? Can the account be scaled/prices for just two users? Also, when my Student plan expires and I opt for another plan, do I have to contact Hulu and Showtime directly? I wasn't sure if they would start billing for premium services outside of my Spotify Student Plan. Thanks!

The Family plan is the only solution for a multiple user account in the US as the Duo plan isn't available yet.

The prices written for the Family Plan in your country is for a joined account of up to 6 users with one owner paying for it (make sure each user has his own account when registering).

For you second question, when your student plan is finished you'll have to connect to HULU and Showtime directly as they were part of a "kit" which you're no longer eligable for.

Hi. When you say "connect" with Hulu and Showtime, does that mean that I
have to contact them individually after my student account expires to
enunciate that I am no longer interested in their services or does my
expired Spotify student plan opt me out of any further services from Hulu
and Showtime?

No worries, when your Premium for Student plan expires, your Spotify account should revert to Spotify Premium for $9.99 / month, and you will no longer have access to Hulu or SHOWTIME through your Spotify subscription. Since the billing for Hulu and Showtime is handled by Spotify, this means that you won't need to cancel each service individually afterwards.

Keep in mind that if you'd like to change your plan from Spotify for Students to Premium for Family, you can cancel following the steps here and then join Premium Family. There's more information on Premium Family here.
