I can't find my university in the list for Premium subscription

Finally, That Spotify got to Russia. But for some reason, the subscription for students still does not work, there is not a single Russian university 😭 Maybe I am doing something wrong? And when will it be fixed?

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

If you’re in higher education and your university isn’t on the verification list, you can request that it be added here. However, in the event that SheerID doesn't accept your school submission, it means that you're currently not eligible for the student discount. 

I recommend reaching out to SheerID if you have any more questions about this, since they are the ones who check eligibility of universities.

Thank you for answering, but your say is slightly irrelevant to the current situation. You see, verification for Spotify Student plans goes through SheerID, and most Russian Universities were verified by this company a long time ago.
As an example the screenshot that the author of this thread provided shows that he tried to search for Moscow State University (top 1 uni in Russia). You can clearly see that it is verified in the SheerID database, but for some bizarre reason, the Spotify website can not load the list of the Russian universities form it.

There is no way for us to verify manually because the manual verification page uses the same shitty list of universities.

So my question to you or to any member of the support team that notices this thread - When this will be fixed???

P.S. If you are a Russian student and you successfully found a way around it, please ping this thread with your solution.

I recommend contacting Customer Support; they’ll do their best to help. However, bear in mind that SheerID Support are best fit to help, since SheerID (rather than Spotify) handles the verification processes.

I am a mature student going back to school and was hoping to switch my account over to the student account. I went on to SheerID and the offer is unavailable to my school. sheerID says "Eligibility criteria is determined by Spotify and managed by SheerID." but then when I go into Spotifys help menu and go to my school is not listed, Spotify says "Notes:  Spotify is unable to influence their decision." (their being SheerID?)

I am 18 and more or less self sufficient, making my own money but because I am still going to sixth form/college rather than university my school is not an option to be get verified for student premium, why? 

So many other student discounts like Unidays let me have it and have since I was 16 so why not spotify? Also its stupid that there isn't an email that I can email spotify about this and instead its a community help site you would think a company this huge could run a help email.
