My Question or Issue

I deleted my Facebook account last year but I kept my Spotify account on mobile. However, I tried to use Spotify on PC and couldn't because I don't have the linked Facebook account. Is there a way to link a new email address to the existing Spotify account? I'm afraid if I log out on mobile, I'll lose my account forever (I've had it for over 10 years)

Thanks for reaching out. 

Even if your account was created via Facebook, you can still use the email address linked to it to log in. If the associated address is still active, you can use it to create a Spotify password here and then use that to log in. If the email address isn't usable anymore, you can change it provided you are still logged into your account page. Try doing that on your mobile where you still have access. 

If none of that works, feel free to reach out to our support team, they can assist you further. Make sure to have any and all account and payment information you still have on hand, as our team will need it to find the payments and verify you as the account owner.

I just checked my phone, it seems I'm logged in via my Samsung Account (One Step Login) - basically I can only access my account on mobile and not on PC. Where do I go from here? My account on mobile doesn't show any details other than my name (no email desplayed)

Hey @SimonMD,

Thanks for coming back to us. 

Just to make sure you're looking at the correct place - go to 'Home' -> tap on your profile picture -> go to Settings -> take a look at the second item. If the email is not visible there, this would be due to the Samsung One-Step-Login. 
Once you manage to get access to your login credentials, you'd be able to follow the steps linked in this post from Samsung's Community site in order to deactivate the login (in case you wish to do so).

Note: If you can still access Spotify via your mobile browser, this should be doable even now.

And, as for the login credentials themselves - do you remember the email address that had been associated with your Facebook account? Do you still have access to it? As @Joan has mentioned, you can use it to create a Spotify password here and then use that to log in on your desktop device.

I contacted support, but still no solution. I hope this will help a bit. I have attached some screenshots of two accounts; the one on top is the one I am trying to fix - the username is a bunch of numbers, and there's not email shown (most likely because I sign in via Samsung One-Step Login. The one on the bottom is this account I'm using to post this - as you can see, there's a username and email
