I paid... for 3 months free?

I paid... for 3 months free?

Plan Premium

Country Argentina

Device PC and Android

Operating System Windows 10

I was offered 3 months of Spotify for free and was charged a fee. I read that they hold your money temporarily and then refund it to you, but so far nothing has arrived in my bank account and it's been almost 11 days.

What happened?

Hey @BlackCat-hehe,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

It sounds like the “fee” you’re seeing is likely a standard authorization charge. This is a common process used to check if the payment method is valid.

In most cases, these charges disappear within one business day, though it can sometimes take up to 14 days. If it’s been longer than that, I’d recommend keeping an eye on your balance or transaction history, as returns from authorization charges might not always be prominently displayed.

You can also check if your banking app has any filters that could be hiding the statement, or reach out to your bank for further clarification. They should be able to provide more details about the status of the charge.

Hope this helps! 🙂
