Is there a subscription that allows me to add an account living in a different country?

Hi,
I signed up to Premium DUO in the hope to add my partner, who lives in a different country. But I found out quite soon that this wasn't possible. I want to give him Sportify Premium as a gift, so how can I best do this? Is there another subscription that allows adding accounts in a different country?

I understand your concern. I'm afraid there isn't a plan like that, but I could see how this can be useful. You can always create a new Idea about this here, and I'll also pass your feedback on to the right folks.

You could get them a gift card but the recipient must be in the same country where the gift card was purchased.

However, I'll take a look and get back to you to see if there's any alternatives.

I took a closer look to see if I could find any alternatives. Spotify doesn't offer a subscription plan that could include accounts from different countries. The reason for this is that data such as country and payment method are used for account verification purposes. There isn't any alternatives I can provide at this point.
