My Question or Issue

 

I'm trying to change my Spotify region from France to UK in order to update my payment details. Everytime I try to do this, I get redirected to the "choose a plan" page with an error message stating that I'm ineligible for this plan? Can someone please help as I see no other way to update my region to the UK and then add new payment information (I've moved).

Hey @ctape ,

 

Thanks for coming to the Community.

 

Can you try updating your payment method here and make sure to click on "Change country" and select the UK on that page before choosing a payment method?

 

Once successfully updated, your country setting will update on your next billing date.

I've tried this before, and did it again just now. This is when I receive the message stating I'm not eligible for this premium plan and to select another one. I'd like to keep my premium account (single user) but don't know how to get past this stage?

Thanks for letting me know.

 

In this case, you can try canceling your subscription by following these steps and then waiting for your account to revert back to the Free plan. Once you're back on Free, you should be able to change your country setting and re-subscribe by using your new payment method (if it meets these requirements).
