My Question or Issue

I used to have Spotify for students, which was $5 USD/month. After I finished school, it got raised to $10 USD a month, which I have/had no issues with.

My current issue is that my payment method changed (new Debit Card) and now I cannot renew my subscription for $10/month. My only options are $15/month (family plan) or $120/year (yearly plant for same monthly price).

The reason this is a problem for me is that I will be joining the military soon and my Spotify usage will change drastically when I am in boot camp and then go on for more advanced training. Is there anyway to get my old month-to-month rate? And then I can cancel when I'm not using the service?

Hey @legaltender_, I'll be happy to help.

Can you make sure that your debit card allows recurring transactions? If it can't, then that payment method won't work.

Also, can you go to your account, and let me know what your subscription status is?

Keep me posted 🙂
