Paying for premium without actually getting the service

Paying for premium without actually getting the service

Hi

 

I am writing this on behalf of my father.

He asked me earlier today why he can't choose songs and scroll through the songs on his spotify. Turns out even though he has been paying for premium for over a year he has not been upgraded for the service.

 

Please get back to me to sort this asap.

Hey @alfsjoberg, welcome to the community!

 

Let's check if your father has other Spotify accounts following these steps. He could be using a Free account, instead of the Premium one.

 

If he only has one account, but can't use the Premium features, try reinstalling the app on the device to see if it helps.

 

Also, please check if he's paying for an account that's not his. He may be getting charged for the account of a relative.
