Prices in Kazakhstan

Price for premium in neighbouring country Russia is 169rub which is approximately $2.4 and they have 3month free trial, while in Kazakhstan price for premium is $4.99 and 1month free trial,not even in our local currency. Is this some kind of a mistake? or trolling? is it going to change?

That's not a mistake. Spotify has a different pricing policy in each country. In Argentina, for example, you can get a Spotify premium for just a dollar. Perhaps, taxes and other complications with Kazakh government doesn't allow Spotify to lower the cost of the premium subscription.

Yeah, like Spotify have taxes problems and complications with all CIS governments except Russia. And what about 3month trial only in Russia?

We will be able to pay, payment will be converted from our currency to dollars. But exchange rate is very unstable

Мда-а, guys, я всё понимаю, то что крутые рекомендации и так далее. НО! Really ДОРОГО! 
Могли бы для начала изучить рынок, сравнить местные цены у конкурентов (!!!). 
Яндекс музыка - 45 дней бесплатно, после 849 тенге в месяц.
Apple Music 3 месяца бесплатно, после 999 тенге в месяц.
Что предлагает Spotify? 
1 месяц бесплатно, ок! Но после 4,99$ (2066 тенге (17.07.2020) в месяц! (даже, не в местной валюте!)

Я считаю, что это полное наплевательство, и не уважение к Казахстанцам.
Живой пример (Я) : 
С тех пор как анонсировали официальный запуск спотифай в РФ, везде, где только можно, всё хвалят, что цена адекватная (169 рублей) + 3 месяца бесплатно! Ну и то что, раз уж он появился в РФ, то и у соседей тоже (Казахстан). Мне стало интересно, сегодня вечером скачал его, и что я вижу? 4.99 американских долларов! DAMN! 

Я человек не жадный, я люблю слушать музыку, и имею подписку в эпл мьюзик за 999 тенге в месяц. И честно думал (перед скачиванием спотифая), что если рекомендации реально топ, то перейду на ваш сервис. НО, увидев цену, я сильно разочаровался! Как-то так. Я уверен на 100%, что я не первый, и далеко не последний такой человек! 
Spotify,я искренне надеюсь, что вы пересмотрите свою ценовую политику в Казахстане. Спасибо за внимание.

Totally agree with the OP. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and others need prices comparable to it's economical state. You've made it with RUSSIA, what should've been a tough play, it'll be easier with Kazakhstan eventually. Plus, there is a huge segment of kazakh music groups willing to get ads and monetisation from their music.

Totally agree with author, price is too high to be attractive for Kazakhstan community. Hopefully spotify will reassess price as soon as possible.

So do other streaming services like Yandex, Apple Music and etc. that give everyone an affordable subscription. It just seems that not many kazakh musicians are interested in broadcasting via Spotify.... Same used to be with Russia tho that one case perhaps involved some complications with the goverment's policy indeed.
