Problems with logging into Hulu

My Question or Issue

I have a Premium for Students and have activated my Hulu subscription in the past. I did not have a Hulu account, and I created one with the same email as my Spotify email.

The problem is that if I click "Start Watching" on my Hulu subscription from the Account page, it makes me login. Using the email and password I used previously results in "Invalid login details".

I did "Forgot password?" and entered my email. After several tries, I never received an email reset link. It would seem my account is deleted, but I get regular email updates from Hulu with my current username?? As though I had an active account?? (see attached image, from today)

I am confused, as I supposedly have a linked account but there is no way to access it.
