Question about Univ Student Account

Hey guys, I'm new here in the forum so I don't know a lot of things so I'm going to the point. I have the Univ Student Account for... I don't know, they say 12 months, 1 year (maybe ?). Anyway, I'm trying to renew the discount account, but a message error appears (is in the end of the post). My question is: I need to wait 'till the discount account ends and then ask for it again ? Or is it a bug ? Because I really really would like to renew now and avoid any problems later.  Problems like they don't accept that I'm in college or worse (can't think in anything now), I mean.

That's the message I receive (Sorry, that's in portuguese)

"Não foi possível trocar de plano. Isso pode ser porque você não atende aos requisitos do plano, porque já tem este plano ou porque não tem nenhuma forma de pagamento cadastrada."

TL:

It wasn't possible the change of plans (I just wanted to renew, but OK). This may be because you don't attend the requisits of the plan, because you already have this plan or because you don't have any form of payment registered (wth ?!)

P.S: "plano" in portuguese is "plan", but this is related to the discount in the account

Yes, you are right that the discount lasts for a full 12 months. Spotify will then send you an email shortly before your subscription expires - giving you the option to renew.
You won't be able to renew or move the subscription to a different user though before then. You can also find the full FAQ for students here.
