Spotify Premium Duo Problem due to country

Hello everyone, 

So I got a spotify premium account about one year ago and I registered while I was in France (I'm french) but I live in Greece for now. I'm trying to get spotify premium duo, I payed for it, shared the link to my wife, and when it came to verify the localisation, it didn't work, saying that my wife was trying to register from another country. I tried with both my adresses, the Greek adress and the French one, but still didn't work.

Anyone can help?

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

From the sound of things, the issue might be that your Spotify account's country is set to "France" (whereas your wife's is set to "Greece") since you firstly subscribed to Premium while you were living there (I'd assume you used a French payment method for Premium). You can double-check your account's country here (Account overview > Country).  

To successfully share Duo with your wife, you should make sure that the payment method you associate with your Spotify is issued in Greece, since that will set your account's country to "Greece". You can update your payment method and register one issued in Greece by following the steps you'll find here. After, there should be no issues when you share the Premium Duo link with your wife.

Hi there Mario,

I had the same problem with the country and billing address. I updated my payment information with a card issued in Greece but Spotify still things I am in the UK. And obviously we can not activate Premium Duo. Any ideas?
