Tried to cancel, but it won't take effect for months

Tried to cancel, but it won't take effect for months

I have Spotify Premium Individual in the USA.

 

I want to cancel my Premium account. When I try to cancel my subscription, the site says it will cancel on May 2 2025 instead of at the end of this billing period. I want to cancel it now. I pay monthly for Premium. How can I cancel immediately?

Have you used any gift cards lately?

 

Try deleting your payment info so you won't get charged anymore.

 

To do so:

 

1. Go to your Subscription page.

2. Click UPDATE DETAILS. If it shows below 'Would you like to cancel your subscription?' click there and cancel.

3. Check the box to 'Remove', and click 'Change' button,

 
Note: If you have your Premium active you won't be able to remove your payment info. That's why it's important to cancel before.
 
After you've removed your payment info, you won't get charged and your subscription will run out eventually.
