Unable to change country.

Unable to change country.

I’m currently travelling in Guatemala from Australia. I’ve used my 14days free and wanted to upgrade to premium but my card won’t work as I assume it’s because it’s a Australian card and my Spotify location has changed to Guatemala.

Hey @7b7_l-26n9fk6,

 

If you only have a payment method that's been issued in Australia, then you'll have to wait until you're back in Australia because the country setting must always match with the issuing country of your payment method.

Is there another way around this because I’m not going back to Australia for a few years.

You can try getting a payment method that's been issued in Guatemala (e.g. Credit Card) 🙂

That still won’t help me because im not staying in Guatemala much longer. I’m travelling all around. 😞

so I don’t want to get a credit card here because I’m not staying. 

There's currently no way for you to upgrade to Premium then. 

 

The third way would be buying a Spotify Gift Card, but they're not available in all countries. If you're willing to share the names of the countries where you'll be travelling, I can check if Gift Cards are available there.
