My Question or Issue

I unlocked and selected my STUDENT DISCOUNT last week but was charged in full this week. Please refund and avoid this surcharge in the future.

Sorry to hear that you've been paying more than expected for your Premium subscription. Premium Student is valid for up to 12 months from the date you subscribed. Unless renewed in time, your subscription automatically continues at the standard rate for Premium Individual. You can always check the status of your subscription on your account page, under Your plan.

Please note that your student discount is not automatically activated upon approval of your student verification request. You will need to click on the ink that was sent to you by SheerID, so you can be routed to your Spotify account and activate the student discount.

Keep in mind that it's not possible to use the student discount in combination with our other offers, such as Premium Family or Premium Duo.
