Upgrading to Family Plan after pre-paying Premium in December 2017

Upgrading to Family Plan after pre-paying Premium in December 2017

I want to upgrade to a family plan so my wife can get the same benefits and such I do. However, I don't want to start paying monthly again since I've already prepaid for the year back in December. Is there a way to pay the difference?

Also, if I decided to wait until December 2018 to upgrade, could I just share my spotify with her and we both listen at the same time, or would that not work? It seems like it wouldn't, but I don't want to double pay for something.

Hi @luckofthedru and welcome to the Spotify Community! 🙂
Since you have already pre-paid, if you choose to upgrade that difference will continue to be deducted until the balance is used. Since Family costs more it will just bump your renewal up to an earlier date (you can see the new date on your account detail page).

Unfortunately, there is no sharing of a regular Premium account so in order for her listen separately/same time you would need the Family option.
Hope this helps! 😄
