Was charged twice for 2 differnt subscriptions

Was charged twice for 2 differnt subscriptions

I have been a spotify premium user for a long time. Recently I was not using it very often so I let the subscription laps. I recently started premium back up but when I processed the charge I must have selected the student version. When I realized this I did not finish processing the order. I went back and set up for the regular premium subscription. Looking at my bank statement and I have 2 charges. One for $4.99 and one for $9.99. The $9.99 is correct. Why did I get charged the $4.99 if I did not finish the process and I did not get a confirmation. There is no record of the $4.99 charge under the receipts section in the tool bar. Will this get credited back to me? Is this just my bank showing a pending charge and holding the funds until it is released?

That could be the case, but from what you have said it seems you have two accounts, please use the link in the green and contact Spotify.
