Why am I paying for Premium when it's still got advertising?

Why is "New releases" just some payla-like scheme to push artists the record labels are paying to have promoted? Shouldn't it be new releases based on artists I'm following or have listened to a lot?

If I wanted to listen to top 40 radio I'd just get a radio, at least listening to the radio is free…

That section shows new releases from different genres and artists. If you'd like new releases tailored to your musical taste, check out your Release Radar playlist.

Just go to Browse > Discover > Release Radar.
