Why does spotify not let me buy premium?

I tried to take the 3 mont free trial on my account, because spotify sent me emails of it, but when I got the thing of succesful payment and went back to spotifys page, it said that I can not have the trial because I have had it before, but I just made my account so I have not had it. Is it because I have bought the trial on the same credit card before?

Thanks for posting your question here on the Community!
To be eligible for a Premium Trial, your account must not have had Premium before and the same applies to the payment method used.

In case you've used your payment method for a Premium trial and/or subscription in the past, you will not be eligible for the trial offer.
