Why is it impossible to speak to someone from spotify about an account issue?

I was on a student plan but this has been switched to a premium account without providing me any warning. I subscribed in July so it has been less than 12 months. I have now been charged the full rate and cannot find where to switch back to a student account. It is very frustrating that there is no one to communicate with. Why does spotify not have a customer service line or chat service?
