can't register duo address

When I go to the register duo screen and type in any part of my address (postal code, first line, town, name county, whatever) NOTHING is recognised so it's impossible to set duo up.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Have you tried using a Google Plus Code yet?

You can find the Plus Code for your address here on Google Maps — it’s a unique combination of letters and numbers in the format XXXX+XX. If you run into an error while entering the Plus Code, try adding the city and country after it.

When your Premium Duo member accepts the invite, they’ll need to enter the exact same Plus Code to match the address.

Thank you, unfortunately my address does not have a google plus code. It should fall back to using postcode or lat/long but it doesn't = poor UX by Spotify

Thanks for letting me know.

When you enter a random address, do any address auto-complete suggestions appear? Or is the issue only happening with your address?

If your address doesn’t autocomplete, enter the entire address, then select Find.

If you still can’t find it, you can select your building, street name, or a close public space or building. Just don’t use someone else’s address. 🙂
