how do I exit a family plan and go solo?

hey there. I'm part of a family plan, I want to exit it. How do I do that?
I see only the option "cancel plan" which does not sound 100% right.

Hi there, and welcome to the Community!

You can go to

https://www.spotify.com/my-en/account/overview/

And then click on Manage plan -- Change plan -- Cancel

Your plan will then revert to Free, and you'll be able to subscribe to Individual Premium, if you want.

Keep in mind that the Family plan members can only change plans once every 12 months.
