how do i keep my playlists, etc when changing from duo to individual

Is there an easy way to keep my playlists, podcast follows etc when changing from duo to individual (my daughter passed away this year). They say to cancel subs from duo and rejoin but what happens to all of my info. Thank you

Thanks for reaching out.

Nothing to worry about, changing the subscription has no effect on your library, including playlists, followed artists, podcasts, etc. As long as you continue to use the same account, all of that will remain the same.

Hi Joan,  I can't just change subscription though...I have to cancel my premium duo and then sign up to the individual premium plan.  I guess I don't understand how I keep my account and therefore playlists, etc, when I cancel my subs first.  Thanks so much for your assistance.

Thanks for reaching out.

It depends if you're the member or owner of the Duo plan. If you're the owner, then you can change plans to Individual from your subscription page or by following this link. If you're the member, then you need to leave via your account page or ask the owner to remove you and then subscribe to your own plan.

In either case, you really don't need to do anything special to keep your playlists. As I said before, changing the subscription has no effect on your library so as long as you keep using the same account with the same username, email address, password, etc. , everything will remain intact.
