it won't take any form of payment for me to sign up

I have tried several different credit cards plus my debit card and it says it won't accept the form of payment

Hi there,

 

Thanks for reaching out. If you're facing issues making payments, consider the following:

  • If your attempts are repeatedly unsuccessful, wait at least an hour or two and then try again. Repeated failed attempts can lead to your account getting locked and the system automatically rejecting all payment attempts
  • Make sure you have sufficient funds on the payment method you're trying to use
  • Make sure the country of the payment method matches that of your account
  • Try with different payment methods, especially ones that aren't all linked to the same bank account
  • Try in an incognito window, as well as on different devices and in different networks. If you have a VPN, deactivate it.

If the issue persists despite all the above steps, feel free to reach out to our support team, they can assist you further. Make sure to have all of your payment information on hand, as our team will need it to find the payments and verify you as the account owner.

I have a student account for 2 years. Last payment was declined due to card change. I tried to update card to resubmit payment but payment keeps getting declined. I contacted my bank and they don’t see any attempts from Spotify to take payment. I have uninstalled, used computer incognito, cancelled and tried to sign up again to no avail. My mother has free account and tried to get premium but her payment methods declined. Any help?

So I got a new credit card. Works just as usual. But as I try to update my card in the Spotify app it tells me that's not possible. Annoying. So I try to login on my phone, but Spotify tells me there is some error. Annoying. So I login in my computer. And as I try to update my card it gives me an error message. So naturally I go to e-mail Spotify to have it cleared up, but that does not even seem to be possible? What the **bleep** even is this? 

 

I have noticed Spotify continously getting worse, not understanding what headphones/speakers I'm using etc. And for some reason my username is not spelt correctly on this weird forum which seems to be the replacement for an actual customer service feature?. But the unbelievable part is, obviously, that Spotify is literally unable to take my money? I've been a paying user for something like 10 years and now I'll be out because they actually will not let me pay and refuse to talk to me about it? That's just crazy.

My card changed with PayPal and on your app it just says renew sub online 

I started Spotify in Singapore with company name then when I came to France you changed everything for me but singapore account still comes up

i have a problem regarding my card. i lost my card a few weeks ago but i just did i new card yesterday because of my tight schedule. Because of that, my family plan cant get renewed...so what can i do to stay with the same premium plan if i cant proceed with the payment?? Somebody help me please :<

Seems like there's a technical issue that's why we're unable to collect your payments. Don't worry, this is only temporary. You can also try to wait it out a couple of hours - see if system refreshes. It just might be a temporary connection issues.
