my spotify wont stop asking me to update my payment

my spotify wont stop asking me to update my payment

I used up my 3 free months and then joined a family plan. Everyone's spotify in the plan has been working great but mine won't stop telling me to update the payment. My roommate who made the family plan has shown me that they have been charged the 16 dollars so I have no idea why my spotify keeps telling me that they haven't been charged the money. I've restarted my phone, undownloaded and re-download spotify, and loged out and logged back in and nothing has worked. I've left the family plan and rejoined to see if that would fix it and it hasn't.

I have no idea how to fix this issue, please help.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

 

It is indeed possible, that you have a different account, where a payment has failed. Could you check if this is the case via this article?

 

If you find the second account, you can cancel it's subscription and use the account invited to the Family plan.

 

I think you've activated the trial on one account and joined the Family subscription with a different one.
