why did i not get 2 months free on duo

i got emails that i would get 2 months free if i signed up for spotify duo but i did not

It'd be great if you can send us a screenshot of the email offer you got so that we can have a closer look. Can you also double-check that the account you subscribed to Duo from is the same as the one that the email offer was sent to?

I also received the offer to upgrade to Duo with the first two months at the existing price. Clicked the offer and all mention of the two months disappears and states £16.99 will be charged this month?
