why didn't my husband get the free trial duo invite I sent?

I am a premium spotify holder, and wanted to take advantage of the free duo member trial. I completed the steps required, and sent the link to his email, but he didn't receive it. Do I just go back and do it again or will I be billed twice??

We'd recommend that you check the Spam and Junk folders of the e-mail to see if the link is to be found there. 

If you still can't find it, would you mind trying to send the invite again but this time - use a different network connection to see if it makes any difference. In case you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it.
