Add "remove from liked songs" button on drop down menu

Add "remove from liked songs" button on drop down menu

When initially clicking on a song, if it's not in your library there is a button marked "add to liked songs" but if it is already in your library the only option is "add to other playlist" which is kind of annoying to scroll through to remove it from your library. I don't see a reason to remove the button instead of renaming it.

Hey there @Unyx22

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. We moved your post from the Ideas board to the relevant Help board, where it fits better.

No worries, you can already remove the song from your Liked songs playlist by tapping on the 3 dots in Now playing view  > Add to other playlist  > untick the Liked songs option.

If this is not what you'd like to do, f
eel free to submit a new idea - just make sure to add as much info as you can.

Thanks!

There used to be a button to do so faster. Now it doesn't exist. There's a button to add it to ;iked songs alongside a button to add it to other playlist, why isn't there a button to remove from ;iked songs alongside one to remove from other playlist.

Hey there @Unyx22,

Thanks for following up and clarifying this one.

I see that you posted the Idea again and added a few more details - that's great! I've added my Vote there, and other users can show their support by giving it a Vote as well.

You can also check this page for further info on how Ideas work (if you haven't already).

We're just a post away if anything else appears, cheers 🙂
