My Question or Issue

To my own surprise I have recently hit the big 10k songs in one playlist milestone. Hooray for me, but I can't add anymore and that's all I planned on doing. After a few minutes of struggling I managed to clear out my Liked Songs playlist. I read about Local Files and Episodes limiting a playlist from being added into my Liked Songs, so I went back and removed all of the ones I could find, and am 99% certain all of them are gone because I can't recall the names of what would be in there (the downsides of having an unusually long playlist) but it still shows that something went wrong whenever I hit CTRL+A and right click to add everything into my Liked Songs.

I hope I'm not wasting time by just posting this here only to find out I didn't remove everything later on, but there could also be something wrong too so I just want to be sure before I start digging through to find the needle in the haystack.

Hi there @M7T31,

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be happy to help you manage your bountiful library.

To clarify, this error occurs when trying to add the entire large playlist to liked songs, is that correct? Does it also happen if you do that on a much smaller playlist or on an album? If you haven't tested that, please do so.

In general though, we can see that you're a very passionate music lover and we really appreciate that. But be advised that trying to move ~10 000 songs at once is already at the upper limit of what the app can realistically handle. The more content you have in your library and the more items you try to move around at once, the more likely it is for you to encounter errors and issues like this and the more likely it is for performance as a whole to degrade. If the error doesn't happen with a smaller number of items, we recommend moving them around and adding them to liked songs in smaller, more manageable chunks.

Hope this clears things up.

Hi, sorry for the delayed response. I figured out my problem, I had some unavailable/greyed out songs on my playlist that had gotten deleted after I'd added them. A majority of them came from Jamiroquai's 'Rock Dust Light Star' and Spotify actually had no problem importing the playlist to my likes thankfully
