All the albums I have previously saved are now gone from “Your Library”. I still have my “like” on them, but the app stoped showing them in the tab. It doesn’t show them as saved releases on artist’s page as well. It happened to my after I reinstalled the app trying to fix another issue.
I also saw some other people talking about this bug on Reddit, so I’m not the only one facing this.

Hey @marusic,
Thanks for reaching out!
Just to check, are you able to see the saved albums on any other devices that you use Spotify on? Are they being displayed in the Web Player?
Should they appear on another device, we recommend clearing stored cache from your mobile device. Once it's done, try logging out and back in again twice in a row. As odd as this may sound, this should resync your account info.
If that doesn't do the trick, can you let us know your device's model and OS version? Also, did you notice that the albums stopped appearing after any specific points? For example, after an update to the app or to the operating system.
Let us know how you get on! We'll keep and eye out for your reply.
Hi! Thanks for your answer.
Yes, all the albums are visible on my computer and the web player.
I’m having this issue on iPhone 8 that is currently operating iOS 16.7.5. Clearing cache and logging in and out didn’t help. As I already mentioned the issue appeared after I deleted and reinstalled the app in hopes to fix another issue (live events were showing for Manchester even though my city was set to New York if that is important).
I also found out that this issue caused deleting some of my liked songs. I’m leaving a link to Google Drive here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-4yFDYeMwW_njNQSsUOhgOPxRPDGEw8V You’ll find there two screenshots, one of them was taken on my phone and says that there are 566 liked songs and the other one was taken on the desktop version and says that there are 573 songs. There is also a video that shows one of the missing songs, it has my like in the player, but not anywhere else.
Hey @marusic,
Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.
In this case, would you mind opening your account on a different mobile device to see if you can replicate this behavior? If possible, you can ask for the mobile device of a relative or a friend to open your account there and check.
On another note, would you mind opening a different account on your mobile device to see if this happens on that one? Again, if possible, you can ask for the account of a relative or a friend to open it on your device and check. This will help us to narrow down if this could be an account-related issue.
Lastly, did you enable the Show unavailable songs option on the mobile app settings? It'd be awesome if you could check. To do it, just head to the Spotify app Settings and privacy on mobile> Playback> Show unavailable songs. This feature shows you some songs that perhaps you've saved on your playlists, but that are not available to play.
Double-check if that feature is on to see if you notice any difference regarding the difference between the number of songs saved on your Liked Songs playlist.

I have the same problem. Only in the Spotify app on Android. Is there a solution? Because I have been messaging Spotify support for 5 days now, but they still haven't solved the problem.
Hey @user-removed,
Thanks for reaching out.
Have you tried removing the tick from the album page and adding the albums back to Your Library? If doing it on your Android phone doesn't help, try doing it from the desktop app.
If it still doesn't work, please send over your phone's model, OS version and Spotify version and let us know if you've tried any of the troubleshooting steps mentioned previously.
Keep us posted.
I tried adding albums again and if I add an album again, it does appear in my media library. But if I reinstall the Spotify app, the albums disappear from the media library again. At the same time, I installed the Spotify Lite app and there is no such problem, in Spotify Lite all added albums are displayed in the media library. That is, this problem exists in the main Spotify app and is not present in the Spotify Lite app. My smartphone is Poco X3 Pro, Android 13, Spotify ver. 8.9.66.543
Hey @user-removed,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Would you mind asking a friend or a relative to log in to their account on your device and check if they can replicate this behavior with their account?
On another note and just to confirm, are you using the official version of the Spotify app?
We'll be on the lookout.

My Question or Issue
I've experienced this problem for years. Albums frequently disappear from my library once they are added. I'm not talking about albums being delisted from Spotify - the albums are still accessible and listenable from the artist's page, and I can add them back to my library. I just hate that they seem to randomly disappear. This causes me to forget about some incredible albums I've found over the years.
