Algorithm affected by removing like

Am I disrupting the algorithm by de-selecting the "like" from songs that I like?

1. I use the "Liked Songs" folder as a temporary storage place for freshly discovered music that i like.

2. Then i go through the liked folder later on and save each song to to a relevant playlist

3. In order to clear the liked folder, i then de-select the likes on those songs

Does the algorthim then think that i no longer like that song?

"Liked Songs"  is a basic feature which allows you to reflect and save specific songs you wish to "separate" from the rest.

When it comes to the algorithm, it mostly relies on your actual playing history, which means liking or disliking a song does not effect it.

The more you stream music on the app, it will know you better.
