[All Platforms][Other] Why is Spotify bad at showing when a band I follow posts a new release?

How do New Releases work?

Spotify doesn't alert me to new releases from followed artists about 50% of the time. Release Radar does not show all the New Releases from artists I follow.

The "New releases for you" section is constantly in a different spot on the page every time I log in and some days (I want to say Fridays) its completely gone altogether until I restart. What on Earth is going on here?

Why does Spotify have this confounding, unintuitive and detrimental UX? Nearly the whole point of having Spotify is to keep up with New Releases from bands I follow and Spotify does this SO BADLY.

I get that they removed the social aspects like sharing, messaging and alerts (well I hate that they got rid of these features which were half the fun of using Spotify with friends) but why do they make it SO hard for us to use Spotify on its most fundamental level?

This frustraion has been building and building... I have been holding out for positive changes in this regard for literally years but the frustration is building up (for my friends as well) and I am now seriously considering Apple Music. Thanks for any help and insight you can give.
