All my playlists are gone after I changed my email last month

All my playlists are gone after I changed my email last month

I last month changed the email of my Spotify account due to security related reasons . I have been using Spotify for a long time now but never had this type of issue . I had many playlists on the account but as I changed the email they all are disappeared I tried logging in and out but nothing worked

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

 

In our experience, the most common cause of playlists disappearing from one's account is simply logging into a different one that was created earlier or at the time of the login attempt. 

 

To investigate this scenario, we'd recommend first making sure that the email address change was successful by checking your old address for an email notifying you of the change. If you can't find one, your original account is most likely still using the old address so try this one on the login page.

 

There's also the possibility that you've changed the address on the second (empty) account and the original one is registered with a completely different (third) email address of yours. In that case, it's best to use the password reset form to find out which of your other addresses is associated with an account. Once you enter the right one, you'll see a notification that a password reset email was sent.

My account doesn't had a email-account linked to it When I  added a email   to it  removed all the activity - artists followed, songs and playlists all

Content cannot disappear like this would its removal being specifically requested. All evidence points to the existence of a second account where you're logged in, as @MihailY explained earlier. Most likely, instead of changing the email address on your existing account, you either logged into a different one that already had that address or created a new account with it. Please follow the steps here to look into this.

Already tried it but my saved episodes from pre-password change are still there else nothing is there
