Blend Playlist not Showing Profile Pictures

My blend playlists have been refreshing today and the ones that have refreshed no longer show the profile picture(s) next to them.

I'm using Android 11 and have the latest version of Spotify.

The blend playlists that have updated now show some circle video icon up in the playlist picture which, when I tap on it, takes me to a "Something went wrong. Try again later." page.

The same thing is happening with mine. Any new ones over the past 10 to 14 days are trying to profile photos. There’s only one old blend playlist and it still does. And he’s not updated iPhone version. What happened?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Could you try logging out, restarting your devices, and logging back in? If that doesn't make any difference, try running a clean reinstall of the app by following these steps. This can be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.

Additionally, let us know if the same happens when using a different connection, like another WiFi network or mobile data.

Hi Carlos,

When the playlists updated the following day they updated back to their original format (showing profile pictures and didn't have that broken link in the playlist cover area). The issue hasn't returned since then but if it does I'll make note of any triggers that may have caused it and try those steps as you mentioned.

my blend playlist with my roommate isnt showing the profile icons next to the songs but another friend has them showing on their device. i have an iPhone se 2020 and they have an iphone 6. is there anything i can do? ive tried resetting the app by deleting it. ive also tried logging out
