My Question or Issue

After long time I've purchased a one month Premium subscription. There are 3 blend playlists with ex Spotify users.
All these playlists are not openable, not deletable, but still visible in my library.
How can I delete them?

Hi there @keztheslayer,

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please provide us the following:

  • When did this start happening? Was it only after you upgraded to Premium?
  • Are these Blends that you created or ones you were invited to?
  • What happens exactly when interacting with these blends? Send us some screenshots of the exact behaviour.

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

Keep us posted.

Hello!
1. I haven't been using Spotify for a long time. After I've upgraded to premium, I faced this problem.

2. I created them, I think (not sure, because almost 2 years passed)

3. Infinite loading on iOS app. "Couldn't find that playlist" on MacOS app. The "three dots" button is not displayed for these playlists, so I can't delete them.

Thanks for the update @keztheslayer!

Blends require at least two people in order to remain active, and since the other users are have either left the blend or deleted their Spotify profile, the playlists have become inaccessible.

Are you able to long-press the blends in the mobile app? If so, a context menu should pop up and you should be able to delete the blends then by tapping Remove from Your library.

Another way would be logging in to the Web Player and navigating to the blend's location in Your library via the Tab + arrow keys. Once the correct item is highlighted, press the Del key and that should remove it.

Let us know how it goes.

Hello!
Long-tap on mobile makes nothing for these broken playlists, but works for other playlists.
"Thee dots" button is not displayed on Desktop or Web Player for these broken playlists.

Hey @keztheslayer,

Thanks for posting in the community and welcome.

We appreciate the time you took to let us know about this. We've removed one of the screenshots you kindly sent us, since this is a public space and some of your personal info was visible. We've done this to maintain your personal data secure.

That being explained, we'd suggest you contact our Customer Support team, so they can help you removing those playlists. You can find out how to contact them here. We'd recommend the following:

  • Explain clearly the behavior you mentioned here. Try to be as clear as possible, and mention it's not possible to remove those playlist from your side.
  • Let them know exactly what troubleshooting you've tried so far, so they avoid repeating any steps.
  • Let them know you'd like them to remove those playlists.

For us mods is not possible to access to our users account, that's why we suggest to contact the Customer Support team.

We hope you found this helpful. Let us know if you need anything else.
