Can’t download playlist

Can’t download playlist

I have Spotify premium and just got a new phone that erased all my downloaded music the playlist was downloaded the individual songs have an empty arrow pointing down i have been trying to download playlist for days I have used different Wi-Fi and cellular and it will not download.

Since the downloaded content is stored in as cache on your device's storage, if you have a new phone, you'll need to download the music again to be able to play it offline. However, the music should download if you hit the arrow button on the top of the playlist.

 

If the music is not downloading, it could be related to some damaged cache stored on your new device. In this case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

 

If the issue persists, check if your device has an SD card. If so, remove it and try again.

 

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
