Can’t download songs or playlists at all because too many devices being use

Can’t download songs or playlists at all because too many devices being use

I have Spotify premium and just upgraded to the family plan however now I cannot download songs on my account because I have reached a device limit. I don’t know which devices I’m still signed into because I reset my password to fix the issue, but obviously it didn’t work.

Hey there,

 

Thanks for coming to the Community.

 

In this case, you'll need to clear the Spotify app's cache and data (reinstalling should also do the trick) on your old device that you no longer use for Spotify. That'll allow you to download content on your new device 🙂
