Can't find "Hide this song"

I cannot find "Hide this Song" on the desktop app for Windows or my mobile app for iOS. Was this option removed? I'm severely triggered by some music and have been trying to hide the albums/songs as spotify suggests them. Today, the option doesn't seem to be available.

I also do not have a "-" or a "Hide this Song" option in Daily Mix(es) or Discover Weekly. The "-" option shows up in Release Radar but in the past that hasn't kept songs from popping up in other areas.

And yes, I've supported the idea... from 2019... to implement a "Don't Like Button"

Thanks for reaching out via the Community!

To start it's worth mentioning that the "Hide song" function is currently present in the mobile app in playlists that are made by Spotify or by someone else, but not your own playlists.

When it comes to this function in the Discover Weekly playlist on desktop, however, you can currently no longer hide songs from it, but the option is still available in the mobile app. This change is temporary and we're working on having consistent hide functionality across playlists and devices.

Could you check and let us know if that's the case for you? The more info you provide, the better and if needed we'll perform some troubleshooting together.

Something that might be convenient for you if you're triggered by some music is to stop a certain artist from playing altogether on the mobile device that you're using. You can do so by going to their artist page and selecting Don't play this artist.

Spotify, please listen to the many threads and dozens of pages of people telling you to stop removing functionality like the "hide song" button in the Discover weekly list.

It's one thing to A/B test, another to not ever take feedback.

Looks like they removed the "-" (hide/remove)  button. Now, there is only a "+" button to add a Discover Weekly song to our playlists. For me,  this makes Discover Weekly useless. I don't want to be forced to listen to the same songs I can't stand over and over again for a week and/or having to re-skip the song over and over. I am not sure what the Spotify Product Owners were thinking on this one, unless Spotify is getting paid to promote songs that users don't want to listen to (which would be a horrible  way of treating paying users as they would hypothetically be additionally monetizing off the backs of paying customers).
