My Question or Issue

I haven't been able to play my liked songs for several days. It simply says "something went wrong - have another go? - Try Again"

Sorry I don't have a solution, but just wanted to say I'm also unable to play my liked songs on the web client or on the Android app.

It doesn't even give me an error message on the Android app. Just does nothing when I press any track in liked songs. No issue with playing other playlists though 😔

What's going on, Spotify?!

Hi folks,

Thank you for posting on the Community.

To start, please run a clean reinstall of your apps, as this one is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If this doesn't work, please try downloading the Liked songs list. Then activate the Offline Mode and see if it plays.

Let us know how this goes.

I am in the web browser, my account is fine, but I cannot play liked songs. Any insight on this?

Hey @micahwebber93,

Thanks for reaching out.

As a first step, can you please let us know the following:

  • Your device model and OS version
  • What happens when you try to play a liked song?
  • Does the issue persist on other devices using your account or on your device using a different account? What about a different internet connection?

If you're using the web player on a PC, it's worth checking your hosts file using this guide (Windows/Mac).

Looking forward to your reply.
