Can’t search songs and artists in liked songs

My Question or Issue

For many years I have collected many songs in „liked songs” in my library. Some time ago I noticed that there is no longer a search option in the songs I liked. I saved more than 6000 songs, how am i supposted to find a one specific song (the general search unfortunately does not search for my favorites, but the entire library).

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

Can you first make sure that Smart Shuffle is turned off for your Liked Songs playlist, to see if the search bar appears? 

If the search bar is still missing, I would next suggest logging out and back in again twice, to see if that resolves this issue. If the issue persists, I would then recommend trying a clean reinstall by following these steps. This is more thorough than a normal reinstall, and can be useful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.

I can’t think of a reason why you would do this. Would make more sense to focus on stopping the app crashing rather than removing the search bar

Search bar came back when I turned shuffle off... why would shuffle need to be off in order to search my liked list ?!? That for sure needs to be corrected.
