Can't share playlists with songs in an particular order

My playlist sorts the songs from oldest to newest by default. 
But I want to sort the playlist from newest to oldest, which is an easy task ... just by clicking on the Date column and... voila.

But: Every time I share the playlist or copy the playlist-link or post it or embed it, it shows the default-listing  from oldest to newest song. How come?

How can folks get my playlist with a particular song-order, in my case from newest to oldest?

I'm on Mac OS an d  iOS.

Your help is greeatly appreciated.

When you sort the playlist from newest to oldest using the Date filter, you are not actually changing the order of the songs in the playlist and when you share it, it will be shown as you see it without any filter.

If you want to change the order of the songs in your playlist, you have to click and drag each song in the order that you want. In this way you are permanently changing the order of the songs and when you share it, it will appear in the adjusted order.

Thanks for the prompt reply, composer... it did clear up things for me.
I was hoping I could share a playlist with 4000 Songs, ranging from newest to oldest. Drag & drop would be a lot of work :)))

That's of no help at all. The point is that we want to be able to share playlists in chronological order, or alphabetical order of artist, or of song, or any other way that we're able to sort our own playlists.

This option really shouldn't be hard for Spotify to add.

Is this a joke? Sort my 150 songs manually!!! Every time I add a song I have to drag it to the top of the list, it's so annoying. Why can't we keep the sorting we like when we share a playlist????
