Cannot remove a playlist, shows an error

Cannot remove a playlist, shows an error

I cannot remove an old bugged playlist. I already removed it earlier, it is gone from the sidebar. But it still shows up on the homepage of all clients.
Hitting delete again either gives an error with "something went wrong" or visibly removes the playlist and it is back again after refresh or navigation. It is partially gone because it doesn't show up in the library side bar and doesn't show up when like trying to add a song to an existing playlist.
Yes the playlist is/was mine. Has my name. Shows up on multiple devices. Browser, android phone and TV, Windows client.

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community!

If you have played a playlist many times then even after deleting, it might appear sometimes in your recommendations. But worry not, it gets removed automatically in some time. You do not need to do anything for it.

Let me know if you need anything else.

What do you mean, recommendations. It is an old one I have created, but empty. Why would the client offer me options in the context menu to manage it and delete it, but come back immediately after that. That doesn't sound like a recommendation, that is a bug. I ask it to be gone, so be. 🙂

Hey @Ascathon thanks for getting back to me.

When you play any content often it might appear in your recommendations along with other items like suggested content including Spotify's playlists. When you delete the playlist, sometimes it takes longer than usual for it to be gone from the home page. But this is not a bug in my experience because I have gone through the same with one of my old playlists.

You can rest assured that once your recommendations update, that playlist will be gone automatically.

I hope that helps.
